Meet Our Ministry Leaders

Young Adult Pastor Alex Kestner

 Servant of Jesus Christ

Husband to Jordan Kestner

Loving and serving people with the gifts placed in me by Christ, the creator of all things, is what I do.

I am serving the body as the young adult pastor for New Day Fellowship, and I love teaching through the scriptures verse by verse and sometimes word by word. It gives me great joy to help others through studying and applying Gods word to our daily lives.

I have been in church my whole life but like many, I didn’t submit myself to the truth of what I understood in God's word. I tried to make my own way, looking back on my life Gods hand has never left me. God led me to my beautiful wife Jordan Kestner at Archdale Trinity Middle School in 2010 and we married in 2018. Fast forward to spring of 2020 in the middle of shutdowns and quarantines, my “God sent wife” said we should go to John (my middle school wrestling coach) and Pam’s (Jordan’s aunt) drive-in church. From the first service there was an undeniable pulling on my heart from what I knew was the Holy Spirit! I then did my best to clean up myself and stop bad habits, it was to no avail.

My life changed forever at a night service in a little white building off of Meadowbrook, and I stepped across a kiddie pool in front of the altar that represented the Jordan river (Jordan means descending or death) and as I crossed and finally submitted my life to Christ, died to myself and gave up trying to do good and be my own savior. I met Christ in a mighty way! He has given me new life and passion for searching the scriptures, which fuels my love for teaching!
